I'm happy in my cave don't try and snatch me from it
The flame from my small fire is the only light I'll ever know
Hoping I can find some bright sun-rays to help me grow
Digging deeper into darkness - Tunnels guide me home
Give me peace and quite not your piece of mind
I hope the stillness of the morning lasts until the sun sets
Sitting on roof tops staring as the sun sets
Listening to birds singing songs to lift my spirits
Feeling one with the world - One part in a whole
Step back down inside my deep, dark, and dreary hole
Knowing damn well I will find - Nothing but my own walls
Countless hours building up - Not knowing I would fall
It seems only when the leaves change I notice that I'm old
And only when the wind blows I feel the most alone
And only when the snow falls I realize that I'm cold
But in the Wake of new sun - Spring makes me feel young

I know if accept the facts the sun will truly show

All you've ever known is the cave from which you grew

But without a drop to drink that seed just staid at ease
I saw it as crulty - You stripped it of its chance
But really in the cave it would have wilted right away
And really only pain would ever come from your small flame
Only in another world would we see what would become
